Two Step Process for MU Stage Two Wednesday, November 02, 2011 An idea is beginning to bubble up that suggests the Stage Two requirements for Meaningful Use be rolled out in two steps instead of one. In this idea, the first step in Stage Two, coming in 2013, would represent minor expansions of the Stage One criteria. The bigger changes of Stage Two would be deferred until 2014. The fundamental argument is that practices will still be struggling to get through the ICD10 changes in 2013 and simply need more time to assimilate the fairly major changes that are in the Stage Two requirements. Stay tuned. |
