Coan

Tim Coan – Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Tim is one of the founders of ALN and has served as its Chief Executive Officer since inception in 2000. At ALN, he directs overall strategy and management, and manages the sales and marketing function. Tim has been responsible for the capital raising activities of ALN and led previous merger and acquisition efforts.

Tim’s background includes over 23 years of business experience in the areas of strategy, business development and change management. He has worked extensively in healthcare as well as in other industries. He has worked with physicians in multiple contexts throughout his career.

Prior to joining ALN, he was the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Aslex, Inc., a consulting company that assisted clients, including many integrated healthcare delivery systems, with the development and implementation of new business strategies. Prior to joining Aslex, he was a Senior Manager in Andersen Consulting’s (now Accenture) Change Management practice.

Tim is on the board of International Aid, an organization that provides medical equipment and supplies to developing countries. He currently serves on the board of Cherry Hills Community Church. He received a master's degree in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Tulsa. He received his Bachelor's Degree, magna cum laude, from Southwest Baptist University with degrees in Psychology and Sociology.

 

Griffin

Tim Griffin – Founder, President and Chief Operating Officer

Tim is also a founder of ALN and its President and Chief Operating Officer. He is responsible for the day to day operations of ALN, where he has led the build out of ALN’s delivery capability, the implementation of the entire information technology platform of ALN, and the partnership with Perot Systems for ALN's offshore data entry.

His background includes over 22 years of experience in the development and implementation of technology and business operations for companies in healthcare, consumer products, pharmaceuticals, electronics and high tech, process manufacturing, wholesale distribution and business-to-business e-commerce.

Prior to joining ALN, he was an Associate Partner at Accenture where he led the global e-Commerce Ventures practice within the Business Process Outsourcing organization.

Tim served on the board of Highline Community Church, which he helped found. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from Colorado State University.

 

Eliot

Eliot Payson – Chief Information Officer

Eliot is the LLC’s Chief Information Officer. Eliot is responsible for the overall technology direction and delivery at ALN. This includes the provision of the underlying technical and business process architecture for all lines of business.

His background includes over 19 years of helping companies in the United States and abroad implement information technology-based improvements. He has worked with companies in manufacturing, distribution, and high tech industries.

Prior to joining ALN, Eliot was with ICG Commerce, an international business-to-business procurement services company, where he helped lead their expansion into Europe. Prior to joining ICG, Eliot was an Associate Partner at Accenture where he worked in the Systems Integration and Business Process Outsourcing groups.

He received his MBA from the University of Colorado and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics from Colorado College.

 

Julie

Julie Huffman – Vice President, Operations

Julie is ALN’s Vice President of Operations. She leads ALN’s RCM operations centers in Lincoln, NE and Norman, OK.

Her background includes over 26 years in financial services. Prior to joining ALN, Julie was with Woods Park Medical Management (acquired by ALN in August, 2001) where she ran all of the company’s operations. Prior to that, she was a tax manager specializing in healthcare and financial services for a regional public accounting firm in Lincoln, Nebraska.

She is a Certified Public Accountant and has extensive experience helping physicians with the financial aspects of their practices. Julie received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with an emphasis in Accounting, from Chadron State College.

 

Lisa

Lisa Maqueira – Vice President, Client Management

Lisa is the Vice President of Client Management. She is responsible for ALN’s client management function, including oversight of the Account Executives who manage all client relationships.

She has over 15 years in the physician billing industry. Prior to joining ALN, she was at Practice Management Group (acquired by ALN) in Los Angeles, where she served as President and managed all day to day aspects of the business.

She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Loyola Marymount University.

 

Marnie

Marnie Iorio– Vice President, Business Development

As ALN’s Vice President of Business Development, Marnie is responsible for the growth of ALN’s presence in the areas of Revenue Cycle Management and Electronic Medical Record services provided to physician practices.

Marnie’s background includes over 17 years in the healthcare industry beginning on the payer side with QualMed, an HMO based in Pueblo, and later moving to the provider side as an executive with two large physician groups.

Prior to joining ALN, Marnie served as the Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Colorado Springs Health Partners, a 100-physician multispecialty medical practice.  Most recently, she was with RIA/Invision Sally Jobe in Denver, a 65-physician radiology practice, where she also served as the CFO.

A CPA, Marnie is a graduate of CSU-Pueblo, where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.
